A nice polished jadeite pebble used in a lamp finial from the 1920’s or 30’s.
The ovoid pebble has a high polish and is highly translucent. There are some inclusions near the base. The color is very good being a nice bluish green and has not been dyed.
The pebble is mounted into a heavy brass base that can be screwed onto the top of a lamp.

Finial - 2 1/8” (5.4 cm) tall x 5/8” (1.6 cm) diameter
Stone – 1” (2.5 cm) long x 5/8” (1.6 cm) wide x .24” (.6 cm) thick
Weighs .8 oz (22.9 g)
CONDITION
The jade has no chips and no scratches are visible to the naked eye. The brass of the finial has an aged patina. There are a few drops of solder where the mount was attached to the final base.
