A small detailed Nepalese bronze casting of the Hindu deity Varaha the Boar with Consort Bhumi. It is a miniature for an altar or shrine.
 
The bronze is heavy and has deep casting and detail with open spaces in the design. It has aged with a nice dark patina. The base is indented and concave.
 
There are no marks or labels.
 
MEASUREMENTS
 
2 ½” (6.4 cm) tall x 2” (5.1 cm) wide x 1” (2.5 cm) deep. Weighs 2.9 oz (83 g)
 
CONDITION
 
There are no breaks, dents, or cracks. The figure has a drilled hole in each hand which may have carried a lance or another object at one time.
