A well-cast pair of cast iron bookends with a woman in Greek attire spinning wool.
The heavy pair of cast iron bookends has detailed deep casting that shows a scene of a woman spinning yarn. The scene is bordered by Greek columns with a laurel wreath above. The bookends have a deep dark brown bronzed patina. The bookends rest flat on a surface.
There are no marks or labels.

CONDITION
There are no breaks, dents, or cracks, There are a few small patina losses to the backs and bases. The felts show considerable wear and so someone applied removable round felt protectors to one of the bookends
