A colorful and nostalgic Santa Claus cookie jar to bring back holiday memories.
A lightweight ceramic molded cookie jar with lid that has a design of old Saint Nick sitting in a candy cane rocking chair. The shallow foot is unglazed. The base is glazed.
There is a gold and red foil paper label with the words “Lefton TRADE MARK EXCLUSIVES JAPAN”. This label was used 1946-1953. There is also a store label “MOSELEY’S 1076”.
MEASUREMENTS
7” (17.8 cm) deep x 6 ¼” (3.7 cm) wide x 8 ¾” (22.2 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 10.7 oz (755 g)
CONDITION
There are no cracks, chips to the ceramic, or breaks. The painting is in good shape, except a glaze chip on the front edge of the lid and a small spot on his belt. There are manufacture flaws, such as paint spots, paint misses, bumps and thin painting. The cookie jar is in very good shape with bright colors.
You need to put this cookie jar filled with cookies out for Santa! Santa needs a sugar rush.
