Framed Vintage Panamanian Tiger Mola Fabric Art

A colorful work of art by the native Kuna Yala people of Panama. The tiger motif has an abstract quality.

A cotton cloth has been turned into fabric art with the use of black cloth strips and orange fabric. The eyes are squares of red and white. It has been framed with a wood frame and backed with brown paper.

There is the Michael's framing tag on the back.

CONDITION

There are no rips, tears, or breaks in the frame or glass. The colors are bright. There is a small tear in the paper backing, as well as light scratches on the frame.

A great Mola to add to a collection or use on the wall to decorate your home. It must have been time consuming to make this work of fabric art.
