A highly detailed print of a traditional Chinese scene of beauties in a garden. The old Chinese print is a view back into the 19th century in China with rare objects, Lake Tai stones, and bamboo. The costuming and hair styles of the beauties go back in time.
The old frame has a strip of textured cloth edged with a raised wood, carved to approximate bamboo, and then coated with black lacquer.
The picture backing is brown paper with a piece of wire attached to eye screws.

Outside dimensions – 9 ½” (24.1 cm) x 7 ½” (19.0 cm) x 3/8” (.8 cm)
Inside dimensions – 8” x 6”
Weighs 13.5 oz (385 g)
CONDITION
The paper has yellowed but has no foxing. The paper on the back is torn in places. It would do well to reframe with acid free materials. The black lacquer on the frame is worn and missing in places.
