Chinese Pierced Jade Pendant Late Qing Republic
A pierced jade in the shape of a vase with flowers is a translucent pale brownish green shade.
The small jade piece has been carved with a front and a back. It has a gold metal ring for wearing as a pendant, but it could have been used as an embellishment to a box or screen. The jade shows well in front of light with small white and brown inclusions. The carving is deep and is rounded. The carving of the handles and flowers is very thin and delicate. It has a soft hand polishing.

1 ½” (3.8 cm) long x ¾” (1.9 cm) wide x 1/8” (3.5 mm) thick. Weighs .12 oz (3.6 g)
