A generously sized Burmese silver bowl with a repousse rim of scrolling vines.
A hand tooled bowl made of Burmese silver with a rounded base, but no foot. The silver has polished up, but it still could use more polishing. The bowl has no maker’s marks or labels.
MEASUREMENTS
7” (17.8 cm) diameter x 3 3/8” (8.4 cm) tall. Weighs 9.2 oz (265 g)
CONDITION
The bowl has no cracks, chips, breaks, or repairs. There are small dimples around the edge of the base, as well as unevenness on both the inside and outside surfaces of the bowl. The uneven surface is from hand manufacture and are not damages. It could use some more polishing.
A silver bowl to decorate with. It would be festive with flowers or other offerings in it.
